Main Ingredients of the Job As a US FOODS Receiver, you will work in the Cooler with dual responsibilities as a Lift Operator checking inbound product against receiving paperwork to insure that product matches order in quantity and pack size, and labels the product accordingly.
Also ensure product condition meets acceptable government and company requirements.
This helps maintain accurate inventory records and makes sure that the customer is receiving the correct, high-quality product.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday 6:
00am-5:
00pm, rotating Saturdays.
What You Bring to the Table Recent experience (within past 6 months) in high endurance or highly physical activity or role preferred.
Lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work, etc.
Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred.
Check inbound product identification against invoices and receiving paperwork to insure correct pack/size, quantity, product quality and temperature, pallet ti/hi, etc.
Check temperature of all inbound frozen and refrigerated products to ensure proper temperatures and comply with U.
S.
Foodservice's food safety and RRE requirements.
Check the cleanliness of the trailers before they are unloaded.
Verify quantity of each product to ensure physical count agrees with shipping and receiving documentation; report any variances so that inventory levels are accurately adjusted in system.
Apply labels to all incoming product to identify that product in the warehouse for stocking, selection, and inventory tracking.
Complete required paperwork for daily receiving, as per U.
S.
Foodservice, USDA and SOX requirements; sign and date to authenticate products received are placed into inventory.
Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS Education/Training:
High School Education or equivalent preferred.
Related
Experience:
A minimum of 3 months previous warehousing experience required; previous comparable warehouse experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Able to read & write legibly; basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide); good verbal communication skills; basic computer skills.
Physical Requirements Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees required.
Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80
lbs.
