Primary Duty:
The Packaging Line Lead is responsible for ensuring the company's products are packed correctly and made ready for distribution.
They manage a team of staff involved in various packaging and warehousing processes, including bottling, canning, boxing, and palletizing.
They will direct and coordinates activities in the packaging lines, set-up the packaging lines, operate packaging line machinery, and other job-related work.
Help solve problems (so production can continue).
The packaging line lead has an important role in the production team, working closely with the processing team lead and production supervisor.
They must ensure that the high standards of the company are maintained and that the packaged products are of high-quality.
The packaging line lead reports directly to the production supervisor.
To do well in the role, they must have a combination of people skills, technical knowledge, an eye for detail and great organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate the packaging team The packaging line lead will give direction to packaging staff at the facility.
They will ensure that the team is safe, efficient, productive, and appropriately trained for the machinery they are using.
The packaging line lead will be accountable for the actions of their team.
Maintain a safe environment for staff.
Maintaining a safe environment for employees is an important responsibility of the packaging line lead.
They must ensure all safety protocols are followed, and all machinery is compliant and ready for use.
Drive improvement in all aspects of the packaging process.
Employee safety, quality control, productivity, costs, etc They must help the facility meet regulatory obligations required by government bodies.
This will include ensuring the company's compliance with environmental, workplace safety, and food hygiene regulations.
They must oversee the packaging process and ensure it runs smoothly.
That includes tasks like operating the filling line, loading stock, forming cartons, palletizing, labelling, and light mechanical duties.
They will also ensure the packaged product makes it safely to the warehouse or distribution center.
The packaging line lead will ensure QC processes are correctly followed and that quality is maintained throughout the packaging process.

Experience:
A minimum of 2-years' experience working in beverage packing operations Experience managing a team Experience with maintaining and managing packaging equipment Skills:
